Vonage, a leading provider of cloud communications services, has renewed its lease at Retro Office House for another five years. Savills, a consulting firm, represented the tenant in negotiations with the building’s owner and manager, Globalworth.
“Our decision to continue investing in Poland is a strategic and forward-looking decision. We have been present on the Polish market for many years, in terms of software development for our Contact Center solution. Along with extending our office lease, we also made the decision to develop other Vonage product lines, such as AI and Communication APIs, in Wroclaw. This initiative underscores our commitment to continuous improvement and development, as well as bringing diverse perspectives and skills to help us maintain our leadership position in the technology industry.” – comments Artur Michalczyk, Senior Vice President Engineering, Vonage.
“We are very pleased that Vonage is betting on Poland and Wroclaw, and we will further develop our existing teams. Completely new ones will also be created, such as for product management, UX, and architecture, enriching our current portfolio. Our doors are always open to Industry Specialists. At the moment we have dozens of open positions. Working remotely remains part of our culture, but our employees themselves emphasize the role of the office, face-to-face meetings, team collaboration or building relationships with other groups. We want our space to be attractive, modern and for our employees to fully identify with the company they work for.” –
Grzegorz Smolinski, Engineering Director and Site Lead Wroclaw, Vonage, comments.
In one of Wrocław’s most distinctive buildings, the company has occupied 1,000 sqm of office space on two floors since 2018. Retro Office House combines the innovative dimension of Wroclaw’s early 20th century architecture with state-of-the-art technological solutions. Its strategic location in the very center of Wrocław, elegant architecture, and perfectly designed office space are assets appreciated by both current and potential tenants.
“Our goal is to follow the changing expectations of tenants – current and future – so that all buildings in our portfolio are modern and provide comfortable working conditions. Extending our cooperation with Vonage for more years is the best example that the spaces we offer meet the high requirements of even the most recognized international companies. The tenant’s continued cooperation is also an appreciation of our actions that ensure the high standard of the building and a confirmation that Globalworth proves itself as a long-term strategic partner for our clients.” – comments Magdalena Śnieżek, Senior Asset Management and Leasing Manager, Globalworth Poland.
“Vonage is a company at the forefront of the IT sector, which accounted for as much as 25% of total demand in the markets of major regional cities in the first quarter of 2023. I am pleased that we were able to comprehensively support the client in the lease extension process. The Retro Office House building is located in the very center of Wroclaw in the immediate vicinity of the train station and numerous cafes and restaurants, which are conducive to the return of employees to the offices.” –
