Symfonia is a company that develops technologies and software for managing business processes. The proprietary solutions implemented by the company are aimed at small
and medium-sized enterprises and large corporations. What distinguishes them in the market is their ability to scale and adapt with the growth and development of the client’s business.

“At Symphony, we work hybrid because we appreciate the benefits of workplace flexibility. At the same time, we are very keen on integrating teams and having them work together in one location.” –

says Wiktoria Kuc, HR director, Symphony.

Symfonia in Poland has offices in Warsaw, Wroclaw and the Tri-City. Savills, a consulting firm, represented the tenant in the lease of its new office in Gdansk.

“We are pleased to have been able to support Symphony in the reorganization process. In the company’s new Tri-City branch, more than 80 employees will be able to enjoy a modern and well-located office, adapted to work in a hybrid model. The key argument for the Format office building was its location in the business center of Gdansk. The immediate vicinity of a light rail stop will provide employees with a comfortable and fast commute from Gdansk, as well as from Sopot, Gdynia or the surrounding areas.”

says Piotr Skuza, director in the office space department, Savills Gdansk.

For Torus, this is another space lease agreement signed in a short period of time in Format.

“I am pleased that we have met the expectations of another prominent tenant, especially since they were demanding and meticulous in their choice of their new headquarters. The pace of commercialization of the Format, which is now more than 90 percent leased, confirms all of its advantages – a great location, excellent transport links, as well as the multifaceted quality of the building itself. I am convinced that Symphony’s new office will foster further growth of the company.” –

says Slawomir Gajewski, CEO of Torus.

Office building with multipurpose field

The format is located in the business district of Gdansk, on the border of Oliwa and Przymorze. The building has 5 floors above ground, and its total rentable area is nearly 16 thousand. sq. m. It is well connected – it is located in the immediate vicinity of the PKP/SKM Oliwa railway station, providing a comfortable and fast commute for residents of Gdansk, as well as Sopot, Gdynia and surrounding towns. Long-distance trains also depart from this station, which is a great convenience for business trips or business meetings. The building has a large number of parking spaces for cars – a total of 396, as well as extensive infrastructure for cyclists (parking spaces outside the building and dedicated areas in underground parking lots, plus changing rooms with showers and lockers). On May 27, an outdoor, public sports area located next to the Format opened, with a multifunctional field allowing for volleyball, basketball, handball and soccer, plus a gym and ping-pong table. The facility will promote integration and outdoor activities for both employees and local residents. In the future, Torus also intends to build a footbridge connecting the Format site with the SKM platform, which will increase the comfort of using the light rail for the entire neighborhood.

The Format office building is LEED certified, under which it has achieved the highest platinum level. In addition, as a “Barrier Free Facility,” it is fully adapted to the needs of people with disabilities. The body of the building was designed by the Tri-City Branch of the APA Wojciechowski Architekci studio.
