The project required a strategic approach to renegotiating the lease agreement terms, taking into account the client’s long-term interests. A key challenge was balancing cost-reduction objectives while maintaining stable lease conditions. Below we present the stages of actions that led to achieving this compromise.
Client needs
The biggest challenge was the need to consolidate two companies (from Gdynia and Gdańsk) into a single location. This process required an in-depth analysis of the office market in terms of available space in existing buildings as well as those in the final stages of construction.
Result
Our team successfully negotiated turnkey office space delivered at no additional cost to the tenant. In addition, an expansion option was secured in the form of a right of first refusal to lease the adjacent space.
